Meat Goulash with Macaroni

Host your own Oscar party this Sunday with these one-dish meals that you can serve in bowls so you don't need to do a formal sit-down dinner.  Either dish out steaming hot bowls that people can take to their seats, or set up a buffet and let people graze while they enjoy the excitement of the evening's entertainment.  Also try our vast selection of fondue recipes.

One-Dish Meals:

An economical yet satisfying meal, Meat Goulash with Macaroni (pictured above), is a true crowd pleaser.

Sausage Mushroom Ragout dishes out beautifully in bowls that everyone can enjoy while sitting around the tube.

Chicken Chickpea Curry Bowls is budget friendly and full of flavor.   You can use ground turkey in place of chicken and it's just as delicious.

Greek Baked Ziti takes a classic dish and gives it a whole new set of flavors by using ground lamb instead of beef.

Cheeseburger Chili Mac and Cheese was a favorite recipe last month that Rach cooked on her daytime TV show.  Try it at home and you won't be sorry!  Another fave was Tomato and Sirloin Tortellini Bake, which is a super easy dish.

If you go for the buffet and you want to cook earlier in the day, try New Pesto Pasta Salad, which can be served cold.

Shrimp and Shells with Pancetta and Peas sounds like a funny combination of flavors, but it really works and is easier than you think to make something that is deceptively fancy.

Fondue:

Fondue, or as Rachael says, "Fun"-due, is a great option for a party.  You can make it a savory or a sweet offering and let your guests nibble on a delicious fondue while they mingle and enjoy "pre-theater" cocktails.  Here are some great fondue recipes:

Welsh Rarebit Fondue is Rach's newest, served for Welsh superstar, Duffy.

German Cheddar and Beer Fondue is another customer favorite recipe.  But if it all sounds a little too rich for you and you are looking for something a bit lighter, try the Healthier Cheese Fondue with Pretzels and Veggies recipe.

Get creative with the dippers for this fondue, but whether you use bread, veggies or meat, it is extra creamy and delicious!  Easy Cheesy Fondue with Fingerling Potatoes, French Bread and Select Vegetables.
