The Fall is a great time to take a road trip throughout New England. By then the water is warm and the days are long. Here are some of our favorite restaurants and tips we have found throughout our travels.
First, we have to share this great website with you that lists many out of the way and otherwise unlisted New England spots. Holly's Eats has all kinds of recommendations for places all over the world, but we really like his New England finds. Holly is a man (yes, it's a man) named Holly, short for Hollister, who is a quasi-celebrity and foodie from Philly. His site is a compilation of his recommendations and discoveries that focus on afforable (cheap) food that is actually good. He even has a section all about Hot Dogs! This guy knows his stuff, so check it out!
Some of our favorite spots that we found this year:
Boston and Cambridge
Boston is where all of the fancy schmancy restaurants are but if you are passing through, why not treat yourself to some of the best sushi in town and Uni, which is Kenny Origner's sushi/sashimi bar inside his restaurant, Clio. These are both located inside the Eliot Hotel.
Also consider stopping by Cambridge for a stroll through Harvard Yard and take in the international cuisine of Cuchi Cuchi.
