Christina Stanley-Salerno, notable recipe developer and mommy blogger knows that meal-time spent together as a family is super important. Easy enough for a kid

Ham and Cheese Scones

Snacktime just got a whole lot more sophisticated with this scrumptious take on a kids classic – ham and cheese!

Homemade Honey Graham Crackers

These graham crackers are sweet – but not too sweet – and have a nice crunch thanks to the addition of super healthy wheat germ.

Banana Oatmeal Squares

This recipe is a favorite in our house. Not only is it portable, but it's packed with good-for-you ingredients. And and best of all? No sugar! It's a great breakfast or snack for the whole family and perfect for those days when everyone is crazed because it can be eaten on-the-go.

Oven Puff Pancake

This oven-baked pancake is super easy and very impressive when it comes out of the oven, as it is puffed up like a souffle – it quickly deflates, so admire it while you can! With a sprinkling of powdered sugar and some strawberries, this is an easy breakfast my kids love.

White Bean Dip

"There's nothing better than snacking on a good dip – I call them snack'ables! This one is a very basic snack'able that is similar to hummus, but it uses white cannellini beans instead of chickpeas. Dip in your favorite veggies or some nice baked pita chips." –RR

Salsa Verde Dip

An avocado, sour cream and lime juice enlivens bottom-of-the-jar salsa verde.

Broccoli Rabe Pizza Bread

Layer seasoned broccoli rabe and a three-cheese mix over a loaf of fresh ciabatta bread and bake for a mouth-watering pizza.

Apple Pot Pies

Delicious individual apple pot pies will delight everyone at the table.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

It's hard to believe that I (lover of all things chocolate) have never made chocolate chip muffins, but it's true. My kids recently discovered them at Tim Horton's with friends, which inspired me to make some hopefully healthier and more reasonably sized versions at home. They make a great after-school snack or even dessert – the sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on their tops make them a little bit special. Like most muffins, they freeze well. Adapted from Joyofbaking.com.

Fish Bake

Here's a good one to lighten up the ol' Friday Fish Fry!

Fake-Out Mini Lasagnas

Roasted tomatoes form the base of this easy-to-make ravioli lasagna with lots of cheese and touches of fresh basil.
